Our Annual
Food & nutrition
We work closely with experts in nutrition to provide well-balanced and varied menus which take into account the dietary requirements of individual children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are sourced locally and delivered daily.
Some vegetables are also grown on site in the village gardens!
Nursery menus have been further checked in consultation with Liverpool John Moore’s University and the Liverpool Women’s Hospital to ensure the balance of nutrition is age appropriate for all children.
The Nursery works in partnership with the Belong Village catering manager who plays an integral role in assuring quality menus and encouraging healthy eating routines. A vegetarian option is always available and special diets can be catered for.

Breastfeeding
The nursery supports breastfeeding and there are comfortable spaces available to feed in private, should you require.
We provide your child’s formula milk and will ask you to tell us what milk they have. We can also safely store and use your breast milk if required.
At every stage we will work in partnership with you to ensure that the meals served meet your child’s stage of development and dietary requirements.
Our Annual
Communication with parents
Famly is the nursery management system we use to communicate with parents. It provides one effective digital platform for staff and families to collaborate and share knowledge. Families and our team can communicate in seconds and this means we have more time to dedicate to helping every child thrive.
The Famly app lets us share updates, photos and messages throughout the day so that parents are kept informed about their child’s learning and development.
We also use the app for the management of invoicing, payments and attendance tracking, which helps us to streamline administrative tasks.
Privacy and security features ensure that only authorised family members and staff can access children’s data and information.

7:30am - 6:00pm

The nursery offers discounts for siblings at 5% from the oldest child.

Every child is welcomed for exactly who they are. We value and celebrate each child’s individuality, and our team takes great care to notice and respond to their unique needs. If your child needs a little extra support, or if something is worrying you, please know you’re not alone. Our staff are experienced, compassionate, and always happy to talk things through with you.
